Dear @wolf, for "deposit" I would say "einlösen" in German. It is the merchants (sellers, recipients of digital cash) who redeems money on the normal bank account respectively the value of the Taler token when the token is deposited. This is the transaction when a token is sent by the Taler Merchant backend to the Taler Exchange after the payer signed a contract and thus handed over the token to the Taler Merchant backend software. The merchant obtains immediate payment confirmation. The value is then wired to the merchant's bank account. 6 hours ago |

Hi @wolf, Thank you for bringing up this question! Both expressions would fit here. As a German mother-tongue speaker, I'd prefer "Bestellung" because it is more related to payments and goods that can be ordered. "Auftrag" would correspond more to "assignment" or "job", also to "order", but less to goods and more to services. Please be so kind and look at the Taler app and decide what night be best to your logic and your intuition. 6 hours ago |

Oh, this here is a double issue. "Payee" is in German "Verkäufer" or "Zahlungsempfänger". Please also do not try to apply gender linguistics here, too. Better choose plurals. Thanks! 6 hours ago |

Hi, Thanks for the translation draft. I would like to propose to have in German a plural instead of a person in singular. So, instead of "die Käufer/in" only "die Käufer" or"die Zahlenden". Please avoid gendering (for different reasons). Thank you! 6 hours ago |
